Rustconnect

Terms of Service

Last updated 21 August 2026.

What Rustconnect is

Rustconnect is a companion service for the game Rust. It connects to your Rust servers through Facepunch’s official Rust+ API so you can see your team, control smart devices, receive alarms, and bridge team chat to Discord.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Facepunch Studios. Rust is their trademark.

Your account

You sign in with Steam. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for who you invite to your team — anyone you add can see your servers and control your paired devices.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not use Rustconnect to break Facepunch’s terms, to access servers you have no right to, or to interfere with anyone else’s use of the service.

Plans and payment

Every new team gets a 7-day trial with everything unlocked. There is no free tier after that.

PlanMonthlyTeammatesServers
Rustconnect$10.00/mo5020

There is one plan and it includes every feature. The teammate and server figures above are limits on the account, not a smaller version of the product. Annual billing is 10 months’ price for the year.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record and appear on your statement.

If a payment fails, everything keeps working for 3 days while you fix it. After that the team is locked: your servers stop connecting and alerts stop. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing again resumes where it stopped.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. We do not lock you into a term and there is no cancellation fee.

See our refund policy for when we give money back.

What we do not promise

Rustconnect depends on things we do not control: Facepunch’s Rust+ API, your game server, Discord, and the internet between them. Features can stop working because one of those changed. Facepunch has removed API data before, and doing so again could remove a feature you rely on.

So we provide the service as it is, without a guarantee of uptime. Do not rely on Rustconnect as your only warning of a raid. Alarms depend on your server, your alarm hardware in game, push delivery, and our service all working at once.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Suspension

We may suspend an account that is attacking the service, abusing other users, charging back payments fraudulently, or using Rustconnect to break the law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

Changes

We may change these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects you we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Rustconnect after that means you accept the new terms.

If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-period.

Contact

Email support@rustconnect.net, or use the report button inside the app. Billing questions can also go to Paddle, who handle payment and invoicing.
