Rustconnect

Closed beta

Be one of the first clans on Rustconnect.

We are letting a small group of teams in before launch. Testers use everything for free and keep these for good.

The numbers are real. One night a raid on our own base set the alarm off 29 times in 19 minutes, and Rustconnect reported one raid with the count — not 29 pings. The animation is an illustration of the panel.

Built for our own base first.

Raids arrive as a number
Every alarm trigger is kept and counted. Discord gets a running count at most once a minute, so you can tell a door from a wall coming down before deciding to log on.
Measured on your server, not copied from a wiki
Night length and the gap between oil rig calls are timed on the server you actually play, and an estimate is labelled as one until it has been measured.
It says what it cannot do
Facepunch removed cargo, helicopter and crate data from Rust+. We do not guess those from timers, because an alert that fires wrong is worse than none.
Nothing running on your PC
The connection lives on our servers, so raid alarms, deaths and oil rig calls reach Discord with your PC off. No overlay, no screen capture, no frames lost. It uses the same Rust+ link as Facepunch’s own app and never touches your game files.

Questions people ask first

Is this allowed? Could it get me banned?

Rust+ is Facepunch’s own official companion app, and Rustconnect talks to the same companion service it uses. Nothing is injected into Rust, no game files are touched, and nothing of ours runs on your PC, so it never touches the game client that anti-cheat watches. Facepunch has not published rules on third-party companion tools either way, and some servers set their own, so check your server’s rules.

What do you need from me to set it up?

A Steam sign-in, a one-time browser extension that links your Rust+ account, and one pairing in game — the same Pair button you already use for Rust+. About five minutes in total. Your Steam password is typed into Steam’s own login page and never reaches us.

Does it keep working when my PC is off?

That is the whole point. The connection lives on our servers, so raid alarms, deaths and tool cupboard upkeep keep reaching Discord at 4am with every computer in your clan switched off.

What happens after I apply for the beta?

We read every application by hand, usually within a day. If you are in, you get an email with a link that signs you in and opens your dashboard.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the beta — no card, no trial clock. After launch it is $4.99 a month for your whole team, and beta testers keep 50% off that for as long as they stay subscribed.

Can my whole clan use one account?

They do not need to. One person pairs the server, then invites the rest; everybody gets the same panel and there is no per-seat charge. Teammates can pair their own devices too.

Does it do cargo ship, patrol helicopter or locked crate timers?

No. Facepunch removed that event data from the Rust+ API, and we will not guess those events from player counts or timers. We would rather say so than fake it.
